Gone But Not Forgotten Part 1

A collection of 2011 memories. Maybe someday I'll get caught up with 2012 now that 2013 is starting!

Matt, the family piano master

Nathan's first temple day

Smiling faces!

Sorting candy is serious business

Remember the magic of watching a movie from under a homemade fort?

Not sure which helped more, the ice or the nap.  Between basketball and tennis he needed lots of both!

Music is always good therapy.

10 years old

Talking strategy

Nathan played Martin Luther in the school play.

Fresh snow and a dog-- what a great day!

Joy!

Creative entertainment during a church bball game

Game on!

Anna's drawing is at the top.  Her 4th grade winning piece was part of the 2011 "Christmas Lamb" art show at a nearby museum.

Playing at a school 80's retro assembly.  The drummer just returned from a mission and Ryan will be leaving for his mission on Feb 6, 2013.  My how time flies!

First day as a Senior :)

Chewie (Chewbacca) had a tough year.  A little surgery for an imbedded fox tail.  In 2012 he had ear infections and seizures.  This is one expensive dog!

Playing the guitar is the traditional wind-down after every school dance.

Gone But Not Forgotten Part 2

And some more...

Nothing like cheesy faces on Father's Day morning.

Sling shots!  Who knew, right?

Pizza feast after Matt's Eagle project

Once in a while we take time to just be silly.  :)

Our "Name that Carrot" contest was a big success!

Celebrating what would have been Nanny's 100th birthday.  No doubt she was there in spirit.

Dutch apple pie is a favorite.

A clandestine decorating job of "Boomer" (named by Anna) while Ryan was in school.

Last piano recital...hopefully only for awhile.  Anna has traded in the ivories for the cello.  She's starting lessons in 2013.

Just back, happily exhausted, from a 2011 service project to the Navajo Nation.  Lots of painting, cleaning, roofing, stucco and concrete work in the heat of the summer Arizona desert.  They didn't want to come home!

You don't see Siamese balloons everyday!

Ta - da!  How do you like it?
